Administrative Office Support

If you answered yes to these questions, Peak Performers may have an opportunity for you! We have partnered with the Texas Workforce Commission to recruit for a number of administrative office support roles in Austin, Texas.


The Positions: Open positions will vary in duties, from general clerical to data entry, customer service, and administrative assistant positions. In all cases, we are seeking candidates who are self-starters, able to learn quickly and be flexible between assigned tasks. Offers of specific positions will be based on level of office experience plus demonstrated computer skill assessments with Peak Performers.


Requirements:

Satisfactory completion of computer assessment testing with Peak Performers, to include Microsoft Word and Excel, typing, data entry, and customer service.


Expectations:

Self-motivated to learn not just the immediate task but, when work is slow, strive to fill the void by requesting more work in other areas.

Demonstrated reliability through attendance and production. Strong commitment to a 40-hour work week is expected.

Comprehension of tasks and ability to use independent judgement with minimum supervision. 

Good at following directives, attentive, and responsive.

Able to help others but not overly social into others' business.


Responsibilities may include:

Folding and stuffing envelopes, opening mail, transcribing messages off voicemail, answering the phone and taking messages, scanning, filing

Data validation and data entry

Reviewing unemployment appeals, using criteria to determine where the appeal is directed

Creating letters using mail merge

Project Term: ASAP - June 30, 2021 (with potential for extension)

Compensation: $14-$17/hr (W2)

Work Location: Capitol Complex in Austin (parking provided)

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-5 (some positions may have schedules that vary slightly)
