What are the details?
- You maintain the branch’s cleanliness and safety with a sense of urgency and prioritization (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc).
- You communicate maintenance needs, issues, and recommend solutions to branch directors.
- You perform routine inspections and maintenance checks of the facilities as a means of preventative maintenance.
- You ensure the fulfillment of goods in designated areas, such as paper towels, soap, sanitizer, etc.
- You empty and clean wastebaskets throughout the branch.
- You arrange equipment in the custodial storage areas in a neat and orderly manner.
- You work closely with the Y Safety Champion and Care Area Marshal to develop intense cleaning and disinfecting protocol in closed-off areas.
- Complete all other job duties assigned
What you bring to the Purpose:
- Education and Experience: You are a minimum of 18-yrs old and have a high school diploma or GED. You have the ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift up to 20 pounds. Having experience in custodial or maintenance work setting is a plus but not required. You are able to lift We will ensure you have the knowledge and resources to be successful in this role.

Pay Rate: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour, depending on experience
