AMD has an exciting opportunity for a six-month contract assignment for an experienced HR/Employee Relations Investigator.


The Employee Relations (ER) Investigator is responsible for providing centralized ER support through advising and conducting workplace investigations on behalf of the company. During the course of conducting workplace investigations, the ER Investigator will engage with business leaders, HR, Legal and other key stakeholders to make recommendations on outcomes.

 

What will you do? Investigate ER Cases for the US region! Responsible for conducting all phases of the investigation process for ER case management. Provide guidance/influence to resolve investigations. Partners with HR Business Partner, managers and legal in preparing for, conducting, and resolving ER case type across various business groups.

 

Basic Requirements (You must meet or exceed all basic requirements to be eligible):

  • 3 or more years of experience do you have in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or an investigative environment
  • 3 or more years of proven leadership experience (i.e., influence, confidentiality, communication and conflict resolution)
  • Proven experience leading, decision making, documenting, and delivering highly defensible results related to ER investigations
  • Preferred Requirements:
  • Previous experience applying ER principles, knowing and understanding employment laws and their applications, and the ability to incorporate new practices into enterprise change initiatives.
