Licensed Insurance Sales Agent, Farmers Insurance Group, Austin, TX
We are expanding our Farmers Insurance office in beautiful Austin TX and have an opening for top performing Licensed Insurance Sales Agents to join our team. You will be set up for success with our highly competitive products and services, successful sales structure, and our extensive customer care network. If you hold current Texas licensing (or will become licensed) and are ready to build your insurance sales career in our client-oriented, fast paced office, please apply. You will directly contribute to and support the sales goals of the agency. This includes new business, cross-sell opportunities, customer service, retention, and profit goals. This role has a salary + commissions + generous bonuses!
Core Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Must hold current Texas license in Property & Casualty and/or Life, Accident and Health
- Must pass background review of criminal history/financial history/credit history/DMV history
- Solicits and writes new business, meeting production goals and objectives
- Develops an agency relationship with existing and new clients
- Establishes ongoing networking relationships with real estate agents, mortgage lenders, title companies, auto dealers, etc.
- Creates quotes, makes sales presentations and closes sales
- Treat each customer contact as a cross-sell and up-sell opportunity, including financial products
- Performs other duties as assigned
