Summary: The purpose of the Maintenance Worker I is to complete a variety of tasks under the direction of the Street Supervisor in the construction, maintenance, and repair of city streets, sidewalks, public rights-of-way, storm water detention ponds and drainage systems. The Maintenance I must be in compliance with safety procedures and usage of safety equipment. Employee must be able to be scheduled for on-call rotation. Maintenance I will also assist with training newly hired employees.
