Manager, Technical Accounting

StarHire is partnering with an American provider of consumer packaging, industrial products, and supply chain services, recruiting for a Manager of Technical Accounting. Our client is a world leader in global packaging solutions with diversified operations in over 34 countries. From a small family business to a multi-billion dollar global company, our client has been changing the face of products and packaging since 1899. 

In this role, you will work across the business to solve complex accounting issues. The role will have significant visibility to senior leadership and will work alongside many senior members of the accounting, finance, and business teams.

This position is located in Hartsville, SC or Charlotte, NC and close to exciting destinations (Myrtle Beach, SC Charleston, SC, Columbia, SC and Charlotte, NC). You will travel around 20% of your time in this role, sometimes internationally. Our client is open to hybrid working, but you will need to be within commuting distance. Relocation support is available.

We are looking for a related degree, CPA, 8+ years of experience, including at least 3-5 years in public accounting, and expertise in key technical accounting areas in US GAAP. Big 4 experience is strongly preferred.
