Location: Fully remote for the near term, but must be local and eventually onsite in Round Rock

Compensation: $37/hr

Hours/Duration: Full-time schedule, originally budgeted for 5 months with likely ongoing employment

Liaison Creative + Marketing is hiring an Motion Graphics and Interactive Designer to join our team supporting our high tech corporate client, a leader in eCommerce and consumer and small-business PC technology and infrastructure. As a member of our team embedded with our client company, you'll collaborate on the day-to-day creative UX projects that bring new features and functionality to improve brand perception transform the client's main eCommerce site, one of the leading online stores globally. This is a good for an eCommerce and high-tech savvy UX Designer with a consumer-tech-friendly online portfolio and an interest in leveraging 2-6 years of professional experience in a collaborative role.


  • Conceptualize and execute global creative solutions for a variety of digital experiences
  • Interactive design projects that meet both user and business objectives, while maintaining and supporting brand standards
  • Drive the ideation and creation of custom graphics and motion graphics for dell.com and other digital channels
  • Practice and facilitate Human-Centered Design (Design Thinking) methodologies
  • Evolve and evangelize our Design Language and System
  • Present your ideas to design and business stakeholders and adapt to feedback
  • Intake and understand complex requirements and problems and distill the appropriate customer-centric content solution
  • Test and iterate on content by partnering with UX research
  • Constantly research the latest trends in design and communication and help lead lean experiments


How to be a top candidate for this job:


  • A web-based design portfolio demonstrating a strong design foundation with relevant examples of motion graphics in an interactive marketing setting (while our general application interface can accept them, please do not include links to download sites, Google drive, or attachments. Only web-based portfolios will be considered)
  • Undergraduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 2-4 years relevant experience
  • Past work with a UX team a plus
  • User research experience in technical domains
  • Experience creating Design Systems, frameworks, or other Design-at-scale initiatives
  • Experience designing for eCommerce platforms and applications
  • Experience designing AR-drive or voice-enabled experiences
  • While this role is likely to be entirely remote for the near term, we are only considering local Round Rock and Austin area candidates. Skills:


  • Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects
  • Experience with CGI, AR/VR, experience with video editing and design
  • Good understanding of typography, grids, visual layout, and design systems
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS code, methodologies, and the technology and platforms that support UX design
