Network Support Technician - Tier 1

Position Type: W2 Contract

Rate: $16-$18 dependent on experience and certifications 

Long term position (can go perm)

This position is a long term contract with excellent opportunity for growth. The candidate will be offered training resources for enhancing their career in IT.


Job Description:

The candidate will have hands on experience supporting our clients products as a Tier 1 engineer. The day to day work load will focus on:

  • End user support 
  • Troubleshooting equipment to resolve issues in configuration (hardware and software)
  • Enabling video conferencing for multiple users 


Job Requirements

  • Excellent customer support skills.
  • Presence of mind for resolving customer issues in an expedited manner
  • Troubleshooting prowess
  • Basic network knowledge and troubleshooting skill

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Ticketing experience - Remedy preferred
  • 1 to 2 years in customer helpdesk/network support
  • Basic experience with voice systems - Cisco cert preferred
