Austin Water is currently hiring for the following positions: Project Coordinator (Construction & Rehab Services) (City of Austin)

Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Equivalent Experience:

• Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a related field, plus three (3) years of experience in construction, engineering, architecture, or related work.

• Experience may substitute for education up to a maximum of four (4) years.

Licenses or Certifications:

• May require a valid Texas driver license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current TCEQ Water Distribution and/or Wastewater Collection license 
• Field experience with both Water and Wastewater utility infrastructure (horizontal assets) 
• Demonstrated experience coordinating and executing construction of water and wastewater utility projects (horizontal assets) and experience responding to project changes during the construction phase 
• Ability to read and interpret as-builts and design plan sheets of water and wastewater utilities
• Ability to identify water and wastewater supplies/parts by name 
• Experience using GIS in a water or wastewater utility environment 
• Experience communicating technical information to a variety of audiences (e.g. City staff, supervisors, engineers, finance)
