Senior System Administrator

Anchor Talent has partnered with a local not-for-profit in Central Austin to identify a Senior System Administrator. The System Administrator will be responsible for the management of all systems as it relates to database, LAN/WAN circuits, backups, system utilization and server performance, configuration and capacity. This role will require a strong understanding of Microsoft office and MS Azure.

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure systems, servers, security, backups and architectural enhancements
• Install and complete updates to existing server(s) and software
• Develop and monitor LAN/WAN networks
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with security, capacity, performance, and enhancements
• Monitor system utilization, performance, efficiency, and backups
• Support and establish partnerships with IT vendor
• Assist in evaluation of new products, vendors, upgrades, and hardware/software
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive and protected information
• Install and monitor LAN/WAN circuits
• Track system performance and utilization, preparing reports and documentation as required

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 2-4 years experience with MS Office and Azure environment
• 2 years hands-on experience in networking and systems administration/management
• Be comfortable working within a team environment on multiple and simultaneous projects

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation: $82,000 - $90,000
• Hybrid – In-office 4 days weekly
• 403(b) with match
• 3 weeks PTO
