TMC testing center delivers computer- based testing for information technology, academic, pre-employment, government and professional testing programs. We are looking for multiple Test Administrators/Exam Proctors to join our team.

Test Administrator/Exam Proctor


Is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the testing center and for proctoring of examinations for multiple testing vendors. Tasks includes: Daily site opening and closing; assures equipment is operational; reviews transmission logs of test results upload from current day’s testing and daily download of examinations and site schedule; review test roster and prepare for candidate(s); check in examinees and verifies identification; explain test process and answers any questions and monitors examinees; record and report all problems or discrepancies that may arise in connection with an exam, candidate or test center itself. Perform other administrative duties and may schedule appointments for possible call-in or walk-in candidates. Distributes, collects, and maintains confidentiality and security of testing materials.

Ensures continuous compliance with established testing policies, laws, regulations, operating procedures and protocols. Regularly communicates with management regarding test administration, facilities, and allegations of academic dishonesty.

Evaluates testing environment prior to, during, and after a proctored test to ensure test security and integrity and an appropriate and quiet atmosphere.


Job Type: Part-time/This is an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITION.


COVID-19 considerations: All team members are required to wear a mask and adhere to all CDC guidelines. Per the recommendations from global health organizations, we are implementing a strict cleaning regimen which includes providing hand sanitizer to test-taking candidates upon entering the test center and sanitizing the surface and equipment of each workstation after the end of every appointment. Any equipment used during the check-in process is also sanitized after every use.

   

Schedule:

Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, with the availability to work a flexible schedule.

This is strictly a part-time position and will remain as such, 16-24 hours per week, Wednesday- Friday with an expectation to work more hours if needed.


Experience:

Test administrator/proctor: 1 year (Preferred)

Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

 

Qualifications:


The Test Administrator/Exam Proctor position is responsible for providing a secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a comfortable friendly environment. In this position, you will be required to:


Comply with all testing procedures and strictly adhere to company policies using careful judgment

Check in testing candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process

Proctor/Monitor candidates while testing

Troubleshoot with internal department to fix technical issues

Complete light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming the floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate has finished their examination



REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

Ability to follow through and work independently.

Ability to work well as part of a team.

Flexibility with schedule and last minute changes, if necessary.

Possess strong communication and analytical skills.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Ability to work with computers and learn new programs/technology.

Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Must be able to sit for long periods of time and also escort candidates to and from testing room. Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 20 lbs with reasonable accommodation.
