Compensation: Based on the requirement of 4-8 years of relevant experience

Hours/Duration: Full-time schedule, originally budgeted for 6 months with likely ongoing employment

Liaison Creative + Marketing is hiring a Texas-based UI Product Designer with Research and Testing experience to join our team supporting our high tech corporate client to update and improve their sales applications. Our corporate client, based in Round Rock, is a leader in eCommerce and enterprise, consumer, and small-business PC technology and infrastructure. As a member of our team embedded with our client company, you'll focus on user research and testing while collaborating on the day-to-day UX/UI projects that bring new features and functionality to improve sales applications on their main eCommerce site, one of the leading online stores globally.

  • Working with the Enterprise Sales Application teams, you will help product teams and leadership determine the right research questions to ask, creating long-term research roadmaps and opportunity frameworks that align to and inform business strategy and goals
  • Define and execute (and, as necessary, invent) research methods appropriate to the questions at hand, including but not limited to field research, surveys, lab studies, remote testing, and A-B tests
  • Synthesize a wide range of primary and secondary data types to perform quick and thorough analyses leading to focused, insightful, and actionable findings
  • Translate insights into measurable customer experience outcomes aligned to business and user experience goals

How to be a top candidate for this job:

  • Your resume shows 4-8 years of experience researching and developing online experiences for global markets
  • A single centralized online or PDF portfolio (please do not include links to download sites or multiple links to completed sites)
  • Skills in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Behavioral Economics, or a related field
  • Experienced at defining problems and objectives through data, research, and understanding of customers, and letting those objectives inform elegant, practical solutions
  • While this role is remote for the near term, we are only considering Texas-based candidates, with a strong preference for the Austin-Round Rock Area.   • Skill in use of data analysis, data visualization, and knowledge management tools a plus (e.g., Tableau, excel, confluence, etc.)
  • Skill in developing rapid UI prototypes and data collections tools
  • Solid understanding of the design process and how research is appropriately integrated at each phase
  • Deep understanding of human motivations, capabilities, and limitations as applied to the design of interactive systems
  • Solid grasp of quantitative data analysis and inferential statistics
