True Pedigree is an Austin-based startup that is bringing game-changing Brand Protection tools and technology to the market. Our team is rapidly growing to meet the needs of our clients and expand business, and we are excited to build a culture of learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work closely with our internal team and external stakeholders to manage product customization and ongoing support. The role will heavily feature:

• Initial requirement capture, and scope refinement for all new initiatives.
• Project and stakeholder management through delivery.
• UAT and ongoing support for all products.

What we are looking for:

• High degree of expertise in PHP (Laravel/CakePHP), Database Queries and Indexing (MySQL/MariaDB/Postgres) achieved through several years of hands-on work in a professional environment
• Outstanding client management and communication skills with a consultative approach to engagement
• Strong knowledge of containerization tools including Docker
• Working knowledge of Git and GitLab
• Self-test background, peer-to-peer code review, integration testing, and PHP Unit Testing
• A high degree of professional independence, with a strong desire to collaborate, and a good sense of humor.

Nice to haves:

• Front-end development experience (JavaScript, HTML)
• Java skills and experience with Spring Boot
• Knowledge of any of the following: CakePHP, AWS CloudFormation/RDS/Glue/SNS/SQS
