HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING...
- Provide technical support to section management team and staff regarding the development and implementation of programs associated with drinking water state and federal rules and regulations.
- Plan, coordinate, organize, and oversee activities and special projects for the section and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Coordinate responses to management, agency staff, stakeholders, and the public related to drinking water technical matters and ensure responses to public inquiries and requests are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain tracking systems for deliverables.
- Assist section management team in the planning and evaluation of the section’s budget and contract.
- Assist with legislative and federal activities and initiatives and assure compliance of rules and regulations and represent the section in external meetings, as assigned.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with public drinking water programs and/or drinking water state and federal rules.
- Experience implementing a regulatory program requiring the development of rules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidance, etc.
- Experience overseeing or reviewing the work of technical staff.
