  • Salary: This is a full-time 12-month position at 232 days with a minimum annual salary of $36,853.
  • Primary Purpose: Provide support services to facilitate the efficient operation of Special Projects and Strategic Initiatives.
  • Education/Certification:High school diploma or GED required
  • Post-secondary education strongly preferred

  • Experience:Minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience in self-directed tasks and teamwork
  • Managing and meeting deadlines
  • Managing and organizing multiple projects

  • Special Knowledge/Skills:Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Work independently or in teams
  • Work as a team and assist coordinators/specialists with multiple simultaneous tasks
  • Work with external groups, conference arrangements and meeting facilitation
  • Disseminate information in a clear and concise manner to internal and external clients
  • Writing, editing, and proofing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Skills in organizing and managing project assets
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Detail and timeliness of task completion with high quality control
  • Proven attendance track record

  • Responsibilities:Serve as a representative of ESC Region 13, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public
  • Provide support for events including registration for statewide meetings, communication, and technical assistance
  • Support meeting set up with materials preparation and meeting room reservation/catering arrangements and other aspects of distribution of products
  • Provide communication with participants, provide customer service as needed
  • Provide back-up support for budget and paperwork processing
  • Support department personnel with scheduling, travel arrangements, travel reimbursements, and general operation of the department
  • Provide communication with participants
  • Update, organize and maintain electronic and hard copy files of all products, conferences and other professional development events through planning and even management
  • Support product operations with document prep, including formatting, copyediting, and ADA compliance
  • Support multiple teams in the department with general administrative duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Equipment Used:Computers and peripherals, audio visual equipment, photocopier, fax, telephone
