Customer Service Representative V

If you answered yes to these questions, Peak Performers may have an opportunity for you! We have partnered with a State of Texas agency to recruit for a Customer Service Representative V in Austin, Texas.


The Position: As a CSR V, you will perform highly-advanced (senior level) customer service work. This work will involve coordinating external customer service support and receiving and responding to public inquiries for information and state services. While the position is classified as a CSR V, many of the job duties relate more to a Contract Technician. There will be time on the phones to complete data, but the job may be more administrative than customer service.


Requirements:

Experience in customer service, clerical, or administrative support work

Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures

Skill in the use of standard office equipment and software; successful completion of computer and customer service assessments

Ability to respond to public inquiries in a timely manner; to implement new systems and procedures and to evaluate their effectiveness; to interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; to communicate effectively; and to serve as a lead worker providing direction to others.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing applications/contracts for completeness

Vetting information provided on said applications

Assisting stakeholders via phone or email with application completion

Making phone calls

Data entry into system spreadsheets

Printing documents and filing accurately


Project Term: 2/16/2021 - 6/30/2021 with potential for extension

Compensation: $19/hr (W2)

Work Location: Onsite in North Central Austin (parking provided)

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-5
